Tracey O'Halloran

Tracey O’Halloran

Managing Director and Owner

Tracey O’Halloran has been involved in the international education industry through AEAS for over 25 years.

She is a registered psychologist in Australia, a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and holds a Graduate Diploma in Adolescent and Child Psychology from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Social Work, both from Monash University.

Before moving to AEAS in a full-time capacity, Tracey had an extensive career working for the Victorian government in health and human services policy and practice positions and in providing consulting and advisory services for the Australian and state governments and community service organisations during five years as an Associate Director at KPMG.

Tracey became Managing Director at AEAS in 2009, and over the past 15 years, has focused on business development and growth.

Her experience in and knowledge of Australia’s international school sector is unrivalled, which is a key reason so many schools trust AEAS to support their international student programs and strategy.

Lan Lan Cao

General Manager, AEAS China

Lan Lan Cao joined AEAS in 2011 shortly after the AEAS China office was established.  Lan Lan holds a Bachelor degree with a major in English from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Beijing, China.

Lan Lan provides leadership, direction and support to the AEAS team based in Beijing.

The Beijing team includes

  • Li Ping (Ping Ping), Administration (joined AEAS in 2013)

Sally Warnecke

Sally Warnecke

Director, Operations, Events and Relationships

Sally Warnecke joined AEAS in May 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary).

Prior to joining AEAS, Sally had extensive experience in managing a family owned business, providing account management and business administration services for a number of different organisations, and as an invigilator and test day manager at Monash University for IELTS.

Sally is a member of the AEAS leadership team and oversights day to day operations, school and agent relationships and event management.

Brett McGeorge

Brett McGeorge

Director, Marketing and Business Development

Brett joined the AEAS leadership team in early 2020, following stints leading the marketing teams at St Leonard’s College in Brighton, and Trinity Grammar School in Kew. He holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Linguistics, and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing from Monash University.

His expertise lies in developing innovative and highly effective marketing campaigns, achieving excellent results from a minimum of resources. Having worked in education-related marketing for over 10 years, he has a passion for helping schools to find their voice and position themselves in their local and international communities.

Brett has lived and worked throughout Australia, Germany and the UK, and has executed marketing campaigns for schools and AEAS across all of the key recruitment markets for Australian schools. This has given him a strong understanding of the differences and nuances in each market, as well as developing tools and relationships to effectively and successfully market in these locations.

Brett was instrumental in supporting AEAS’ sector leadership and advocacy in relation to COVID-19 responses, and has significantly improved and strengthened AEAS marketing across all elements of the business.

Jenni Tobin

Manager, Marketing & Communications

Jenni first joined AEAS from 2010-2012 and worked closely with Tracey across all aspects of the business.  She returned in June 2017 bringing with her a wide ranging set of skills to complement the team on many levels.

With a background in advertising and public relations, and recently 10 years driving the logistics department for a top Australian manufacturer, her skills are integral to the coordination and support of all AEAS major projects including IT projects, publications, events and marketing.

Sarah Wilson

Manager, International Testing and Preparation Programs

Sarah joined AEAS in July 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Literature) and a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary).  She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). She has extensive experience teaching and working in international education, and her most recent role prior to AEAS was as IELTS Online Proctor Manager at IDP Education.

She has taught at both public and private schools in Australia and overseas, and has experience in innovative digital assessment. Sarah has strong business credentials and is a clear communicator, and her educational philosophy centers around developing global perspectives, academic rigour and a passion for best practice.

Sarah is responsible for the management of our International Testing Services and Preparation Courses, and she works closely with the AEAS Operations Team in relation to AEAS Testing and AEAS Reports.

Operations Team

Elena Kuecker, Valeria Negreiros Serpa de Jesus, Edward Gubbay, Wendy Pearce and Jane Lang

The AEAS Operations Team is able to assist with questions or requests for information about the AEAS Test and AEAS Reports.

  • Elena joined AEAS in 2012 and has extensive administration and admissions experience in schools and across other industries.
  • Valeria joined AEAS in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of English and Portuguese Teaching, CELTA and a Diploma of Library Services and Information. She has teaching and administration experience.
  • Edward joined AEAS in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Music, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, CELTA and a Diploma of Business.  He has extensive experience teaching English and managing test centres.
  • Wendy joined AEAS in 2015 and holds a Master of School Leadership, Bachelor of Education and Diploma of Teaching.
  • Jane joined AEAS in 2017 and has over 40 years experience in teaching and administration in both government and private schools in Melbourne. Jane holds a Master of Education degree as well as a Graduate Diploma of Educational Administration and a Graduate Diploma of Librarianship.
