Why should my agency participate?

Interest in Australian private schools is growing rapidly among Cambodian families. Last year’s AEAS Schools Exhibition in Phnom Penh confirmed a strong appetite for more detailed information about Australian education — especially around the quality, care and long-term outcomes offered by private schools.

As more Cambodian parents explore international options, they are seeking a clearer understanding of how Australian private schools differ from government schools — not just in facilities and academic results, but in student support, co-curricular opportunities, and university pathways. In Australia, nearly 40% of domestic families choose to send their children to private schools — the highest rate in the OECD — which reflects local confidence in the quality and value of these institutions.

Many families in Phnom Penh are already paying international school fees equal to or higher than those at leading Australian private schools, making Australia a compelling option for those seeking a world-class English-speaking education in a safe, supportive environment.

This in-person workshop is your chance to meet directly with senior admissions staff from top Australian private schools. You’ll gain the latest insights into entry requirements, visa processing (including changes under Ministerial Direction 111), and how to best prepare families for Semester 1 / Term 1 2026 and beyond.

If your agency is looking to grow its school-sector business, this is a valuable opportunity to strengthen your understanding, build direct relationships with schools, and position your team as trusted advisors to Cambodian families considering an Australian education.
