AEAS Operations Team grows to meet increased testing demand

The start of a new school year is always a whirlwind, and it’s been no different for us at AEAS! With growing demand for our testing services, we’re thrilled to have expanded our team over the New Year period to ensure we continue delivering the outstanding service that schools, agents, families, and students know and trust.

A big welcome to Renee Passas, our new Manager, International Education Services! She is responsible for the management of International Testing Services and Preparation Courses, working closely with the AEAS Operations Team in relation to AEAS Testing and AEAS Reports. She holds a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Arts (English and History), and has over 15 years’ experience as both an educator and an academic administrator.

We’re also delighted to welcome back Rhys O’Brien, who was with AEAS from 2021 to 2023 and has rejoined our Operations Team in 2025. With expertise in Visual Arts, Education, and Communications Design, Rhys brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and many laughs to the team!

And joining us for the first time is Linda Jen, who brings extensive experience in compliance from TEQSA and RMIT. Her eye for detail is already proving invaluable to our Operations Team.

Together with our long-standing Ops Team members, Valeria Serpa and AEAS stalwart Elena Kuecker, and under the leadership of Sally Warnecke, Director, Operations, Events and Relationships, we’re ready for another fantastic year ahead!

It’s an exciting time for AEAS as we celebrate 40 years of supporting international students—we look forward to marking this milestone with many of you throughout the year!
