The test fee is RMB3350.

Payment must be made online via Alipay at the end of the registration process. Students are then sent an email confirming their registration details and giving instructions for their upcoming test session.

AEAS strongly advises all parents, students and education agents to seek information only from the AEAS China office.

WARNING

AEAS is aware of several language schools in China that have been falsely representing a partnership with AEAS on their website or delivering AEAS branded courses without AEAS permission. Any partnerships AEAS has with companies in China are listed on our website – aeas.com.cn or aeas.com.au.

The official AEAS Preparation Course partners in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Harbin and Nanjing are listed under AEAS Preparation Course Providers. No other English language centres or training colleges in China are authorised to deliver AEAS branded courses.

AEAS also found at least one company is posting the names of past AEAS test candidates, and their total English language scores, on their website. We can confirm these names and scores are fake, and the students listed on the website have never taken the AEAS Test. The scores and names have been fabricated to advertise courses at this unauthorised low quality language school.

We would like to warn parents and students against any English language schools not listed on the AEAS website that claim they are associated with AEAS. We also urge students not to participate in any programs they offer. Participation may result in students having to retake the AEAS Test, which may then jeopardise applications to their chosen school.

Please remember, the purpose of the AEAS Test is to give a true assessment of students’ English language and general abilities and to ensure students are prepared to study at an English medium school. The AEAS Test is not a pass or fail test.
