Test Administrators

AEAS appoints Test Administrators (examiners) in many countries. We regularly seek Test Administrators in China and we are interested in appointing suitable Test Administrators in other countries with existing or emerging international study markets.

Test Administrators must:

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree, preferably in teaching or psychology and a qualification as an ESL, TESOL or CELTA teacher or equivalent. Copies of qualifications must be provided and be verifiable.
  • Be a native English speaking person or person with equivalent English skills.

Test Administrators are responsible for:

  • Managing test administration, document checking and identification checking.
  • Managing strict security protocols.
  • Invigilating the written components of the AEAS Assessment in a group setting under strict supervision. This takes approximately 2 ½ – 3 hours.
  • Conducting speaking tests which take approximately 10 – 15 minutes per student. Speaking tests are recorded.

Report Writers

AEAS employs qualified teachers to mark and prepare each student’s AEAS report.

AEAS appoints suitably experienced and qualified report writers.  The role suits a qualified teacher wishing to work flexible hours.  Report writers may work in the AEAS Melbourne office or from home.  Report writers currently write between 30-80 reports per month.

Report writers must have:

  • A Bachelor of Education or other relevant teaching qualification.
  • At least five years teaching experience.
